EVAL8 Deluxe Mono 1ET6525SA Eval Kit
Description
Designed to be suitable for integration in DIY constructions, the EVAL8 is an evaluation kit consisting of an 1ET6525SA amplifier modules, a mono front-end board FE07 and a Cable set.
Optimized for easy testing of the 1ET6525SA, the front-end FE07 provides all the necessary connectivity and control features to easily operate the amplifier module :
- Balanced analog input connector (XLR),
- Banana-plug speaker connector and solder pads for extra speaker connector, like a SpeakON
- Connector for enabling/disabling operation,
- Connecters for a (shared) power supply
- Ultra Low Noise and THD Pre-gain stage w/ four gain settings using our FET-input discrete OPAMP
- see our blog post: Discrete Op Amps: When and Why It Actually Matters - Ultra Low Noise Linear Voltage regulators for OPAMPs,
- Status LED’s,
- Various pin headers for accessing e.g, I2C and status information.
Refer to the 1ET6525SA Data Sheet for all specifications.
It is recommended to mount EVAL8 on a heatsink, e.g., an adequately design aluminum chassis.
NOTE: 1ET6525SA has very low idle losses and high overall efficiency, however, adequate cooling is still essential for sustained power delivery. Careful considerations must be given to design of the thermal system in order to achieve desired system-level output power specifications. Given proper cooling the 1ET6525SA amplifier module can easily be capable of very high continuous power delivery and the module is specifically designed with the utmost robustness and reliability as fundamental properties. Most frequently it is the system power supply that becomes the limiting factor in a application incorporating the 1ET6525SA module.
